Outdoor Headshots Orlando

One of the best things about being a photographer in Orlando Florida is the tropical backdrops that are everywhere! Coming from Colorado where the trees tend to be…well.. NOT tropical at all, I’ve discovered how exciting outdoor headshots can be. Professionals in Florida look vibrant, full of life, and perfectly situated on a tropical backdrop. From Palm trees to lakes galore to flower bushes and trees of every color, headshots have taken on a new life for me since moving to central Florida.

Our location has beautiful reds and pink, bold greens with textured trunks, and perrywinkle blue flowering bushes that make for absolutely breathtaking headshot backgrounds. The buildings surrounding our area also have photo-worthy appearances with tall pillars, fountains, and rich colors that fade nicely into the background of any image. When you choose camera settings that blur your background, you have a beautiful natural modern art painting as your head shot background, which everyone loves.

When shooting outside, I use a special type of reflector to harness and direct specific amounts of sun that act as my studio strobes. This makes our headshots truly natural - all natural light and natural backgrounds, which often help create natural warmth and smiles in our professional photos.

Featured here are Trish and her husband, Steve. They wanted a look that was friendly, natural, and that would speak to their profession. We were able to create two styles of lighting (using the sun alone) to help Steve’s image feel bolder and brighter, while Trish’s headshot was more rich and subtle.
